The 7th Annual Earth Science for Society Exhibition
Earth Science for Society (ESfS) is a fun, educational, and dynamic geoscience outreach event in which students, families, youth groups, and the public are given an opportunity to explore Earth Science fundamentals. Interactive, hands-on exhibits are showcased in four themed pavilions. Free admission.

University of Calgary Press and the Arctic Institute of North America are pleased to announce the launch of "Polaris: The Chief Scientist's Recollections of the American North Pole Expedition, 1871-73." Original text by Emil Bessels, edited and translated by William Barr, AINA Research Associate.
The book launch will take place at Aquila Books on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

The Cold Before the War: Operation Muskox and Beyond
An exhibit which showcases the extensive photo archive of the Arctic Institute of North America and
charts military action in the Arctic from 1946.
Opening Reception is Friday, February 26, 2016.
The exhibit will be on display through Sunday, June 5, 2016.
